Denis Binet established himself in Canada in 1997 where he opened Mod’s Hair Salon and a hairstyling school in Montreal. He fell in love with the city and has lived there ever since.

Denis was born in Paris. His father was a painter and his mother worked in the fashion industry. Denis possessed all of the creative skills necessary to start a career in hairstyling, however destiny took him in another direction and he started his career working as a stylist for a photographer. Denis then decided to start training as a hairstylist in Paris, where he rapidly built a strong reputation as a very talented stylist and colourist.

Denis Binet is closely linked with the fashion business and recently opened a creative studio called V pour Victoire in the Old Port of Montreal. Denis has been featured in numerous magazines and is the hair styling artistic director for both Montreal Fashion Week and the Fashion and Design Festival of Montreal. He also follows the hairstyling shows in Canada and France to keep up-to-date on the latest trends.
